We are excited to announce that Morgan Hackworth will be our newest ambassador! Morgan, of the San Diego Loyal, is entering his fourth season as a professional soccer player! An accomplishment he doesn’t take for granted, because the road to get to where he is today wasn’t easy.
“In my sophomore year of college I wanted to walk away from soccer forever. After being in one of the darkest and most depressing times in my life, I thought to myself, “this can’t be it.” I made a decision to not let that be the end of my career, to give it everything I had and see if I could find joy in soccer again. If it wasn’t for that decision, I wouldn’t be going into my fourth year as a professional soccer player and living the life I had always dreamed of as a kid.”
“After understanding how valuable the mental side of the game is, on and off the field, I’m thrilled to be working with Soccer Resilience®—who are working to educate players, coaches, teams, and parents, on the importance of elevating the mental side of the game.
