"When I was a sophomore in college, I wanted to quit soccer forever. I was going through one of the darkest and most depressing times in my life. But I thought, 'This can't be it.'

I decided to give soccer one last chance and see if I could find joy in it again. If I hadn't made that decision, I wouldn't be going into my 5th year as a professional soccer player and living the life I've always dreamed of."
